LAPWING HOUSE AND BARNS are situated in a peaceful and secluded rural location which enjoys far reaching unspolt views across the surrounding rolling countryside. The properties have been converted to a high standard, and being located on the South Western edge of the Peak District National Park are an ideal base from which to explore the local area.

Lapwing House and Barns are set in 5 acres of private grounds and with excellent walking in all directions from the door step. There are nearby caves and caverns to explore and The Roaches, with Hen Cloud and Ramshaw Rocks form a gritstone escarpment providing an abundance of rock climbing and walking. The spa town of Buxton is close by with its Opera House and theatre, and the popular market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne are both within 20 mintues drive away. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Tissington Hall and Alton Towers are all within a half hour drive.

All three properties are situated next door to each other and have been designed in a contemporary, relaxing style with carefully coordinated fabrics and furnishings. You can hire the properties individually or they are ideal for group get togethers as Lapwing House has dining space for up to 16.
